Amile Jefferson Picks Duke, He Announces
McDonald's All-American power forward (ranked No. 3 by Scout.com) Amile Jefferson (Wynnewood, PA/Friends' Central) picked Duke University on Tuesday during a live press conference.
Jefferson (6-7, 190) had offers from Duke, N.C. State, Kentucky, Ohio State and Villanova. He said his mind was made up about Duke "a couple of days ago." N.C. State was his runner-up (via Adam Zagoria's Twitter).

VIDEO: Evan Turner's Clutch Layup To Give Sixers Control In Game 2
Evan Turner has not had the greatest night shooting the ball (4-11), but in the biggest moment of the game he delivered an absolute circus layup to give the Sixers the lead in the waning moments of tonight's game 2 Eastern conference semifinals matchup against the Celtics. Evan then hit two clutch free throws to give the Sixers a 78-75 lead with 12 seconds left to ice the game.
He was clutch in college and so far in the NBA playoffs tonight he's been as well. The video is after the jump and it is must see TV. The Villian protects the ball with two hands as he drives, then lays it up from under the rim. A big time sot if there ever was one.

Philly, South Jersey Light Up Red, White & Blue For Sixers
The Sixers are the last remaining Philly team in the postseason and at least given the way the Phillies look now, they may be the last one we see this year (NFL playoffs don't start til 2013!). So the city is doing its best to enjoy the playoffs while they last. A number of Philadelphia & South Jersey buildings and bridges will be lighting up red, white and blue in support of the Sixers this week. The team released the following schedule.
